>it's so hard making games.
>No we will not up our budget from 2 million.
>No we will not hire more people
>No we will not extend our development cycle
>No we will not allow anyone to help us
>Please understand we are struggling to make this game at no fault of our own. Except for every single fault being our own.

>switch engines
>increase budget to at least 30 million dollars
>increase dev time to at least 3 years
>put every employee on that one game
>enlist third parties to make games in year gaps

Fixed your god damn franchise, you're welcome.

Problem is spending more won't earn more money. The retarded shitslurpers who still buy it aren't going to stop any time soon.

>nets in billions of dollars without all that already anyway
No company would ever.

Shit & Piss was their test to see whether gutting half the gameplay and content makes the shit eaters stop buying.
>>
>>724152767
why would they make better games when you retards keep buying them anyway

Where is the schooling needed cause they have shown and the gigaleak has shown they do not have the dev skills to do it, they need education on how to make games.

Unreal is the most heavily documented engine next to Unity, they should just go to town with them.

Just have 2D Pokemon coexist with 3D Pokemon. They’re already doing that with Mario and Zelda. Move all the geezers to the 2D team and hire new talent fresh out of college for the big 3D games. That way everyone has something they’re good at and the fans get a steady release cadence. Everybody would buy a fully 3D Kanto remake where each city is the scope of ZA Lumiose.

>put miniature model of battle frontier in the game
>had enough time to add that in instead of just making the actual area
>blame kids and smartphones for why you didn't want to do the work
Gamefreak everyone

There's nothing to fix. People whine and complain then buy it anyway in greater numbers.

Personally I'm not going to buy it, I am suggesting solutions.

The famitsu sales aren’t even counting the bundles and digital sales. It’s even got an insane Switch 2 attach rate so far.

Gamefreak has to be one of the most blatant money laundering schemes in japan currently.

Not struggling, hes literally saying kids have quick access to tons of fast dopamine mobile games.
If they have too much content in their series theres a very good chance no one will buy the new games because they havent "finished" enjoying the one that may offer everything on one cartridge.
Even though everyone knows more than a fair amount of people will obsessively buy any new one at this point, they just dont want to chance ever making a game people would be "Content" with, or go on to say "This is Pokémon, all other games are unnecessary." not the old or the new.
He knows he is capable of making a truly final and complete Pokemon experience, but absolutely no one but fans would ever want that.
This is also why they're more than happy to include DEI shit AND slutbait. Because it creates a flawed by enticing SERIES.
Basically their goal is to always edge you, never giving release.

It would be money laundering if the games had an AAA budget and still looked like ass. $13 million looks about right for the final product.
>>
>spend like $2, a stick of gum, and some duct tape to make the games
>sell 151 pokemillion copies in the first 5 minutes of release
From a business perspective (i.e. the only one that matters), there's nothing to fix.

Exactly. Pokemon is already at or near the ceiling of people who will buy their games. They aren’t going to increase their budget 1,000% for a 5% sales increase. It looks bad on the shareholder reports. All investors care about is line go up.
