>>724176921Shadow hearts 1 > 3 > 2Haven't played koudelka myself though I watched a playthrough of it on YouTube many years ago.1 is the best to me as I think it does the best of mixing the horror and comedic elements of the game up together making a fun fantasy horror comedy rpg. Something that wasnt that common, even if the skeleton of the game followed the typical "dragon quest formula" most Jrpgs follow. 2 leaned heavier into the comedy but still hasn't totally ditched the horror elements. Whereas 3 is a straight up comedy with no horror... Which is part of why I like it so much. I also think the environments and towns are a lot of fun to explore. Like Alcatraz is a dungeon and you get to go to roaring 20s era Chicago and new York etc and it's just a Lotta fun. Plus I enjoy how lady and the red head dudes relationship mirror Yuri and Alice and show how Alice could have just as easily lead him astray rather than save him. It's the evil version of their romance. The final boss ost also kicks ass. 2 is a fine sequel to 1 and it's ending is perfect but I just hated seeing Yuri so sad all game so it's my least favorite.
