why not just port the master chief collection, I truly don't understand why halo 1 even needs a remake. Unless you're re-doing the literal entire game, and making lots of changes which would piss people off, there's no reason for it. If you want to play Halo CE, play Halo CE on MCC or original hardware. If you want to play a remixed version of CE with new weapons, vehicles and levels, play SPV3. If you want to play an enhanced version of CE with new content but is overall respectful to Bungie's vision, play Ruby's Rebalance mod
