>>724191320Modern is pretty much 1 button inputs (or 2 if you wanna be pedantic about it).Instead of doing the classic input for something like a super or a special, you just press something like Down + Button and you get a super or a special.It also has built in autocombos.You do lose some buttons, and there's a damage nerf if you do use shortcuts, but you can also do the actual input and not lose damage at all.Pic related, top is classic inputs, bottom is modern input.I personally do not mind it, but it does make playing against modern a chore because they can get away with shit like instant 720 with Gief on reaction.

Modern Hadouken: You press Special button in a neutral state (no directions) to perform the ability.So the complaint here is that it's easier to do the ability. The arguable drawback is you're limited to 1 type of Hadouken, whereas on classic you can do a Light version, Medium version, or Heavy version which has its pros and cons in different situations. But some people believe the shortcut versions are just better most of the time anyway. And you have access to auto combos.
