We need to do some investigative work, /v/.
Which game thought of this as an alert o tell retards "USE THIS"?
The first time I can consciously recall seeing this was in Assassin's Creed Origins, but that's because it's the first game I came back to gaming after a 4 year hiatus. I know I have seen it before, back in the 00s.
Which teacher then inserted this into the minds of every single triple Retard dev?

I understand it. Think about how dumb society is becoming, think about how dumb zoomers and gen alpha are (and going to be) their brains are raised on tablets and social media and roblox, they will never learn to actually use their brain for critical thinking, which is basically a dead concept for most people now. Brainrot is pervasive, and the reason they use the yellow paint is obviously because they playtest their games and the retards that do it can't figure out where to do, they wouldn't splash paint everywhere if people were capable of figuring it out themselves, but again, brainrot.

Society is circling the drain, each year we get even more stupid. People just don't know how to think anymore.

Has nothing to do with some specific game doing it first. Developers some place, somewhere addended a conference or went to a specific school and someone there suggested the idea for how to push players in specific directions. Its like cartoons and CalArts, it started as a specific instruction that infected the rest

It's just the perfect combination of games becoming dumbed down and lazy devs, subtle hints to guide the player take skill to be well done and also requires the player to not be a moron who's also on discord and TikTok while playing the game

>back in the 00s
it wasnt yellow but white and red

the yellow paint is the evolution of the compass/quest marker which started in the late 90s.

It’s the type of shit you would put in your portfolio piece for college
Most of the real talent was laid off and replaced with juniors
There’s no economic incentive to make an actually good AAA game because it’s all held up by the streamer bubble
