I need an honest opinion. I just need to get the true ending, but I feel like a NG+++ isn't gonna bring anything new. Am I wrong? Does the game notice or change anything if you've gotten all the previous endings?
I saved before entering Hinako's house so I can backtrack and get the conditions for the true ending, but I'm afraid I might miss new stuff.

NG+ has the most new stuff. There's less and less new stuff to find every playthrough after that.

I'm enjoying it a lot. Just got DT. The levels are really well done. Also genuinely pretty good battle system and enemy design.

I've noticed in this NG++ that there's only new notes and journal updating in the shrine sequence where you "bid farewell" to your friends and in Hinako's house due to how the game locks what ending you get from there.

I'm just wondering if I've already seen the new stuff that leads you to the true ending. I might just let the game rest a bit and try a last playthrough, but I was wondering if anyone else had the same experience as me.

Overall, I enjoyed.

It was ok. The series now looks something like

>GOAT Tier
SH1, SH2

>Great Tier
SH3, SH4

>Good Tier
Shattered Memories, F

>Mid Tier
Origins, Homecoming

>Shit Tier
Downpour

Forgot SH2 remake in great tier

Shit boring game for faggots. Wait thats all of them.

Other than the notes you already mentioned and the requirements for getting the ending itself, there's just the one scene in Hinako's room that changes depending on your ending. There's nothing else.

I'd put F in Great Tier. Haven't felt a new Silent Hill experience like this in a long time. It ticks all the boxes.

Liked it well enough. Story and characters kept me engaged through several NG+, exploring the town looking for every note was fun, got scared a few times which I thought impossible at my age, gaining a mastery over the combat system was fun, fighting never felt like a braindead chore like in the older games, enjoyed everything about it really.

It also ran well on my machine except for one thing
>Game runs perfectly
>One day launch it and it runs at single digit FPS no matter the settings
>Cant figure out what the hell happened
>Realize I had to swap system locale back to USA the previous day
>Switch to JP
>Game runs perfectly
No idea wtf this was about

Yeah, after NG+ there's not much going on, but those few new notes I got in NG++ expanded the story a lot more and also expanded characters like Rinko and Sakuko even more. I'm afraid I might miss some few stuff like that in a NG++++, but it also feels like a chore already.

I'm still not sure what to do.

I think you should have all the note achievements by the end of your NG+++ playthrough which keeps track of all the important ones. I don't remember anymore for sure though.

At that cycle there's not gonna be much new stuff until you get to the house and are locked into the 4th ending. There's a new alley conversation and new scarecrow messages but I think that's it, maybe a few new notes as well idk. But there's a good bit of new stuff once you get to the house, all relevant to the 4th ending.

not true

It's mediocre, and I've mostly forgotten about it since 100%'ing it. The saddest thing is that the game had a lot of potential in terms of gameplay and story. The creators must've lost inspiration at some point.

I wanna see Konatsu Kato finish it at least once. It was funny seeing her playing it for the first time.
I was surprised to see Salome Something playing 2 as well, why no one of you fags told me this?

It's funner to play than any previous SH. Story is take it or leave it but it's still better than anything SH since like, Shattered Memories
>>
>>724200254
Nah, it's an aggressive 5/10. Too many red-herrings and fake out endings, as well as it taking the unreliable narrator trope to such an absurd degree. Basically means there's no real point in trying to analyze or review it's story as it is a bit of a mess.

This fucking Ryukishi guy. Thanks, anon. I guess I'll just let the game rest a bit and start a NG+++ - I'd consider it a NG++++, but the UFO ending doesn't count as a new playthrough. - I liked the story way too much to let any screw loose.
