SLEEP! SLEEP!!!”. All of these ended up on Hypnohub pretty much immediately after they shipped, by the way. Add the fact that he assisted Eggman in creating a metallizing zombification plague that turned a million characters into brainwashed liquid metal bodysuit slaves and SEGA probably sniffed out that there was a hypnofag on the team and demanded that he die in issue 50, resulting in Ian inexplicably going out of his way on his podcast to say he’s never coming back, even though he was very obviously written out in cognizance of the no-body-no-death rule because we absolutely do not see his corpse.
