a lot of the problem with these armor sets is just horrid material texturingeverything looks like cartoon or playdough versions real shit and it highlights the stupid elements instead of the cool parts. It probably looks pretty cool in concept art, if you made it in real life it would look pretty cool, it just looks retarded as shit in engine.Nothing can save the toilet armor though.

>>724211674The material thickness and other such proportions in FO4 is all fucked to hell. Those shin guards must weight like 50lb a piece. Almost certainly more. Those sons of bitches look like they were welded out of inch thick plate. The metal and marine armor sets suffer the same problem. I guess they wanted to bulk the PC out if they were in heavy kit but this just doesn't work. The game's aesthetic isn't cartoony enough to excuse it.
