Afyer playing it for the first time recently i have to say Kotor 1 was pretty ass.>Objectively retarded and controved story if you play evil>Only able to be seen as a dickish hero until the final planet>Despite letting you build for blasters the game is painfully balanced purely for a jedi playthroughHonestly the game would have been better if it culled the shit it hardly supports in favor of honing what it does support. My evil duel weilding blaster playthrough was pure ass until the final world which actually lets you be evil in the end. I haven't played kotor 2 yet but I'm sure if it has a continuem from kotor 1 it'll be stated I was a canon paragon lightsaber guy. Spitting on it aside if you DO play as a good guy jedi it seems like it would be quite enjoyable and OP.
all i remember from this game was sitting in cutscenes with aliens where it would take like 10 minutes for them to speak like 3 lines of dialogue

When I first played this I roleplayed as a young Mace Windu, single blade proficiency. It was fun as fuck but it took forever to finally find a purple lightsaber crystal. Eh it was fun playing as a bald black dude I guess lol

I loved kotor 1 but I also coincidentally played exactly as a pragmatic lawful evil type revan was supposed to be. So when I was at the revan vault and it gave me access only to be revealed I was revan all along it fit perfectly with the way I was playing and interacting with everything.I can only imagine the experience would be shit if you were a goody two shoes or some "evil for evil sake" edgelord.
The last time I played, which was about 15 or so years ago, I made a scoundrel that dual-wielded blasters, and would cast Stasis on enemies. It was great for everything, but the final fight with Malak was brutal as fuck. I think I fought him for about a half hour before I finally beat him
