If you go back to the 2019 version the masquerade system was actually something Hardsuit were struggling with because they wanted to encourage the player to use vampire powers to scurry up walls and fly through the air and over rooftops and stuff, but they didn't want the player using those abilities in front of humans.Maybe what they should have done is use a suspicion system like Swansong, with a feature on top where you could pay off your debt, basically. Make the breach percentage go down.
