Does anyone play WC3 melee games? I recently got into it but dislike some of the mechanics such as the focus being on getting 3 heroes.

Kill times are agonizingly slow, it was ugly, I don't like the micro focus, I hate creeping as a mechanic with a passion, and despite the micro focus it still has an annoying interface that pulls the game away from what it's supposed to do well. Custom games were 50000x better.
