Or at the very least, it's incredibly overhyped.
The only reason everyone jumped on this game's dick in the first place was because of the autistic pop-culture/"nostalgic" guest characters put in to lure in goy cattle.
It's painfully generic otherwise. With how shitty Sonic Racing Crossworlds is, and how terrible MKW was, I'm seriously hoping Kirby Air Riders will actually be good.
