honestly the fan patches are decent but a cool singleplayer mobility shooter is what most people need in their lives anyway

Some rebalance would have to be done because, over their lifetime, they all suffer from declining playerbases and implementing giant powerspikes to try to capture new whales, but the major flaw remains the cash shop. It's a travesty that so many actually good games like Tree of Savior, Aion, Tera, BDO, Skyforge will die ignominious deaths because some fat fuck wanted a billion dollars instead of a hundred million.
it would be one of the few 2d games that might actually benefit significantly from being re imagined with 360* of analog control.the plodding difficulty of the game could also use a second look. it could still be a darksouls of [] like title while reigning in the obnoxious instantly respawning enemies and the insane autoscrolling difficulty spike in the final level.the setting and hook are so unique that I think could become a modest FOTM success with some streamlining.
