I got the urge earlier this month. went through CV X68K after setting up Qsynth for MIDI support. good opportunity to thank the anon that convinced me to try it again using the original game and not the Chronicles version. I guess they stretched the sprites and most of the collisions and platforming bits I thought were bullshit actually are. none of those problems playing the original release and much better music using even the Arachno soundfont (bottom MIDI option at startup was SC-55?).
