Was it good o should I wait for a sale?
ban steam charts threads
Automatically AI detect Steam chart threads and lock them. I hate PC fags so much.
>>724234840Such a shame the Switch version is shit or I would have already got it, it's not even frame unlocked for the Switch 2
>>724234840Not as good as 1 or 2, but it seems fine.Power-ups are pretty aids tho, don't really add anything to the game.
>>724234914>>724235045this isn't a steam sale thread you retard. I just want to know if I should buy the dip or not.
>>724234840It's just the unity remake copy pasted for a third time.
>>724235395>buy the dipWhat does that mean?>>724235602It's actually the Apple Arcade game engine, iirc. Why it feels weird compared to Reroll.
>>724235960>It's actually the Apple Arcade game engine
>>724236102I still stand by what I said. That game was Unity too, but it's not the same as the Reroll engine.
2nd best Katamari behind We Love, could have been at the top but the movement and physics are a bit fucked
>>724236220>>724236256Were the previous unity ports frame unlocked like this one? That would immediately explain why it feels off.
>>724236409Is this one frame unlocked? I've only played the Switch 1 version, so I can't tell.Apple Arcade one ran very smooth from what I remember, wouldn't be surprised if it ran unlocked.
I would have bought already if there was a physical version for PS5.
>>724236220>>724235960Why nodevs INSIST on talking about shit they don't know???????????????????????????
>>724234914Did your twitter screencap thread 404?
>>724236409no, but the framerate has nothing to do with it, collision detection is noticeably different from the first two games and you get stuck/bump on shit much more easily. On top of that objects that you roll up don't effect your movement like they should and clip through the floor more instead of pole vaulting you around
>>724236493I'm correct. Why do you think I'm not? Please be specific with your reasoning. Don't be scared.
>>724236515>framerate has nothing to do with itHow the game calculates the framerate literally changes everything since everything is based on the framerate, including collision detection.
>>724236583based be specific poster
WHO CARES ABOUT FRAMERATE?
>>724236614You can cap your framerate to 60 or 30 and it'll behave the same exact way, the way collision works is different from the first two games
>>724236689Me.I'm playing on the Switch 1 and the framerate is actually aids. Way worse than Reroll
>>724236731snitchers arent human
>>724234840I'm having fun, but getting S rank has been really easy so far and seeing the huge list of levels in the first period set me up for disappointment after seeing all the others having only 4/5 levels
>>724236769I never said otherwise.
>>724236614based fromsoftware dev
>>724236695Doesn't matter. What matters are the calculations under the hood and how everything updates together with frames. If they fundamentally changed that then everything will feel slightly off even if you lock frames.
>>724236493>>724236583Guess he couldn't do it lol
>>724235232the games specs says it requires a gtx 550 on steam so im surprised it runs poorly on the shitch
>>724236409Yes they were, not sure what the other guys are talking about. The physics are off with Once Upon a Katamari for sure.
got up to the philospher level yesterday, i'm having a lot of fun. the levels are all fun and well designed, even if the missions are pretty much the same as always (roll and get bigger). only gripe is that the OST isn't as good as the old ones, but thats a very high bar to clear

Reading about this game has made me boot up Me and My Katamari.Love this game.
why is the movement so slow
short game, wait for sale
>>724238629Instant Katamari classic
>>724238931All Katamari games are short. That's part of the appeal.
>>724238931It's a good bit longer than the other Katamari games, I'm at about 8 hours with 2/3 of the levels done compared to like 5 hours for completion of the first and 7 hours for We Love (minus the roses grind)
>>724239131Oh man, part of me wants to finish the rose grind and I don't know why. It's so pointless lol
>>724238889It goes in increments, so when you're small or at the smallest portion of a size category, you're speedy but as you get larger you slow down a lot, having dash mapped to a button helps with getting around but doing it with the stick makes you go faster
Beautiful Katamari Reroll when?
I want to remember a song from this series. Lyrics were like this: There was a longer break between words and singer was a woman... ... .... Katamari ... ... ... ... Damacy... ... ... ... japanese words... ... ... ...
>>724239536that describes about half of the music from the series
>>724239569Alright, thanks for nothing, asshole.
>>724239536https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xydi9buo1Zo&list=PLESFnlO3kNnozjGXQvGqTxV3Ua1oK5qfC&index=16Was it this one?
Are framerates the only difference between the Switch version (running on Switch2 hardware of course) and the Playstation/PC versions? Or are the number of objects on-screen and stuff also being affected? Things that actually affect gameplay?
Do we have the lyrics for the Boys Choir Song? When they got to the end I clapped
>>724240052pop-in is much worse on the Switch versions, doesn't affect gameplay but it'll make it harder to see what you need to roll up in the distance
>>724240210>versionsEven when playing on the Switch2? It's kind of annoying. Because all comparison videos I can see all use the first fucking Switch. Really annoying.
>>724240448doesn't seem like it has a dedicated S2 version, just uses the S1 version with a more stable 30fps
>>724240591>doesn't seem like it has a dedicated S2 versionYeah. But games like Pokemon SV and Legends ZA can handle a lot more on-screen on S2 even without any upgrade packs. There is a notable difference in pop-in. So it's not just framerates.
