I've felt attached to different characters throughout the years, with different personalities and from different stories, from comfy slice of life utopias to outright misery porn. I like good anthro designs and very much prefer them over humans.If your story and characters are indeed good, please don't let such things bother you. The quality of the narrative you can deliver far outweighs how the public is going to percieve them, and if anything, if there actually will be porn of your characters, take it as a proof of the integrity of your creation. People like what you've created so much that it inspired them to make something new, if not original.Yes, there will be porn. Yes, people will probably pay to have your heroes drawn with particular fetishes in mind. It's inevitable.But, frankly, there actually not that much good media with anthro characters in general, due to stigmas and stereotypes among the general population who associate them strongly with specific audiences. If you really think you are good enough to challenge this, please do, ironically - it will actually improve the way others see your work, and the niche in general, proving that it's not just stylization with a specific demographic in mind, but a complete and conscious aesthetic choice with strengths other approaches lack.
You can ask a lawyer about this, it will of course cost money.
