Contact damage with a stunned enemy is the single most "fuck you" game design I have ever seen.

What's the lore reason to have contact damage anyway? Hornet is different species or something and can't withstand a touch of certain bug?
If it's not lore reason, but gameplay reason, then why introduce stunned enemies anyway? I can heal mid-air already

It's only a "fuck you" because contact damage is so deadly in this game. Enemies should continue to have a hitbox when stunned so you can pogo them reliably. It'd be more bullshit if you clipped right through them after reaching an arbitrary damage threshold.
