Sonic has never been relevant.
Mania had given them so much goodwill and momentum and they largely squandered it. Forces was just bad. Frontiers was fine I guess, but divisive. And Superstars was not the followup to Mania that anyone expected, I personally was so disappointed to see them put Dimps back on 2D Sonic, they fucking suck.They should get a small team to create a proper original 2D Sonic game and title it Sonic Saturn. This is what the fans actually want.
