It has been a long time since we had a year as good as 2025. 2026 doesn't stand a chance against this year.

Mainly because you didn't have retarded plebbitors running around blasting the praises of westernslop like E33, KCD2, Silksong, and Hades. Even the token Sony game that year was at least something refreshing I guess (idk I haven't played it). This year is again a home run for Japanese games, SHf was great, DS2 was great, NG4 is great, Digimon was great, but plebbitors find those games too icky because they're Japanese and too "anime", they can't take them seriously. This is basically another 2007 or 2011 where big slop games overshadow great Japanese releases, the faggots couldn't stand last year so they're trying so hard to make a flash game and a ugly ass persona clone a thing.
