The only problem is the balancing, if you don't pick Blade and abuse a bug on Nightmare IV you simply aren't beating it. Every character should be usable on every difficulty in any build. Having it so your choices are basically>An M2 Thor that is typically dying more than doing anything in combat unless you have multiples of him and falls off heavily on 15 and 20.>A Punisher that has to focus on M1 and sucks at most things outside of early game.>A Magik whose sole purpose is to dash M2 M1x6 repeat as a non-Darkchild form.>A Blade who has to focus solely on sword attacks and buffing attack speed to enable a bug that lets him deal more damage than he should and one or two Ankh proc chances.Jeff is basically unusable on Nightmare IV, half the upgrades aren't even usable past Nightmare III, many of the builds don't work at all on Nightmare IV, and HP/damage reduction is pretty much pointless outside of lmao2wanda where you need 12k HP or you die.
i just did the 10 required ranked matches i needed for the free color at the end of the season. everyone of them was full of salty no life faggots, even when we won, and i'm only in platinum. i dont think i'm ever doing this again, the colors have to be REALLY fucking good for me to ever suffer these nerds again

Now, I've seen one group that cleared it with one Blade and three Thors focusing on M2, but never a single Thor.Go look at any clear of this, Blade is doing basically all the work at clearing hordes and the 1v1 fights because no one can hit like he does. The only one who can mob clear as well as him is Magik. I never said Punisher isn't good at 1v1, I said that Blade outdamages him even in the 1v1 due to the attack speed glitch.
