All I'm going to say is, if they're smart they'll lock the Windows shit behind a "developer mode" you have to input the Konami code to use. The prospect of a PC console hybrid system is very interesting, but it's in a rough state on the Ally and Xbox is as incompetent as ever.

I am guessing there will be one but they are going to go in a very different direction than what traditional console wars have been doing. My guess is they are going to try shipping a budget tier kind of PC to try to get people on the goypass of course. They know full well this will not outsell whatever Sony's next console is but they do not care. They will simply say they are not competing against Sony. Which at this point they aren't lying. They are trying to take over gaming through another path. And that path is through subscription services and forcing everyone on to the cloud. Their ultimate hope is outlasting Sony and Nintendo and therefore winning the "war" through a completely different sort of tactic then what has been traditional.

So basically they want total dominance. They can afford to eat losses for a long time anons. They are fighting a war of attrition this is why they are not allowing their games to be on PS.

Xbox is done as a mass market brand. A next Xbox will exist but it will be a novelty product sold with a huge profit margin to a million sunk cost fanboys who will pay extra for the glorified Alienware to have an X painted on the side.
