Earliest memory is my uncle letting me play Battlezone on his pc in the late 90s/early 2000s. He was also the one who let me play gta 3 on his ps2 when it first came out, he was p based.

R-Type on the Master System when I was 4. It was very good, probably the best game on that console. I didn't play Nintendo stuff until I got a Game Boy, which was maybe a year later. Missed out on SMB 1-3 and the good Castlevania games, but I did play Mario Land 1&2 and the shitty Castlevania for Game Boy. In the 16-bit era I got a SNES, but my SMW was not the All-Stars version with SMB 1-3 included, so I missed out on those once again. I didn't play those games until I was in my twenties and started to emulate.
