This is what high-level fighting game matches are supposed to look like.
>>
a mirror match between the top tier character?
>>
>>724254403
I liked Tekken 3 a lot myself but... >>724255401
So how about we get another webm?
>>
boring, why arent you using the spinning punch ultimate move
>>
>>724254403
That's some good ass Tekken
>>
>>724254403
>can actually tell what the hell is going on
>every movement has a purpose
>combos don't last 10+ seconds
>no overly flashy bullshit
>no rage meter bullshit forcing the game into a staring contest
This is it mang
>>
eeerm where is heat? Why isn't there a slow mo? Why aren't they bouncing on stage hazards? Why aren't the combos 40 hits with rebound?

This is going to sound retatded, but why is everyone's fighting form so sloppy in real life compared to video games, or even when they're shadowboxing or punching on a sandbag?
Then they go into a ring and throw pretty sloppy fists
>>
>>724254403
So many unpunished moves and horribly dropped combos I actually cringed watching it.

I was so confused wondering why tekken had good animations all of a sudden.
>>
>>724258954
in terms of animation DOA still mogs both VF and Poggen
>>
>>724258725
have you ever been in a fight before?
>>
>>724259404
Only 2
And both times I was so focused on my form, despite being distracted because of it, it worked out really well, ending both near instantly
>>
>>724259994
sure thing kid
>>
>>724254403
I remember playing this in 1999
>>

because "perfect" form doesnt exist in practice. If your opponent puts his dominant leg 1 inch closer, you need to either start backpedaling instantly to upkeep the safe distance or start preparing yourself for defending or parrying the possible incoming blow.

perfect form can only exists in shows and videogames. in real life you have to actually adjust to 99999 variables. also predictability kills you: with a perfect form there is only one perfect motion how to do X and that can be reactable.

look at the nonsence fencers do to throw off guard their opponents, there movement is even more important than in martial arts. pic related, you wont find this move in a book lol
>>

This is fucking gay. Fencing is tag with pointy sticks
>>
>>724261319
if you find that gay, never ever look up how MMA or box looks like then.

but you essentially do the same in martial arts: putting your head out of the way of opponents leg and instead placing your hand into his neck. and that is so deadly they banned it pretty much anywhere official and instruct you to aim at their head instead.

I suppose it's a little different when you're against people who aren't threatening or trained. While untrained people can be a lot more sporadic, which would make "perfect" stuff like distance extremely difficult or even impossible, a stock-standard jab-straight, or even just a hook you've practice a million times in a gym would be enough. I've never been in a professional fight or anything lasting longer than a few seconds, so I dunno. But if you've going to get into a brawl on the streets or something, focusing on your own movements is important, since you lose a lot of force and speed by being sloppy.
