The game is much better than I expected it to be, but there are some pretty glaring issues on console in terms of bugs and polish. We will see how I feel when I get to the end. I read that there are 19 chapters and im only at chapter 5. I hope it doesnt go full action schlock at the end like the silent hill 2 remake did.

The strongest parts of their games have always been the narrative with some quirky gameplay hook that wears out its welcome in the first few hours of the game. Seems like they could just approach netflix or amazon or apple with an idea for a miniseries or something. You could make a great show set in the control universe where each episode is just dealing with schenanigans at the bureau mixed with a not-scp event every episode. Sort of like Tim Schafer, just go make a pixar movie already, I bet it would be really good. I get they want to make video games, and god bless them, but they have good story telling instincts and know how to craft a story with some unique wall-papering.
