Its fine but the cheating has gotten way worse. Dont expect it to change as Valve is ideologically opposed to using invasive anti cheat solutions.

The new map they added that's some kind of Japanese mining town or whatever is really strange. It's extremely and obviously very Japanese looking, but there aren't factions in the game anymore so the agents look very out of place on it.

The game is fantastic. Never had a more responsive FPS in my entire life.The servers and matchmaking are horrid. People overstate the cheating issue but it actually still is not great, especially once you get to the higher ranks. The worse thing about it is that you pretty much have to play the active duty premier mode in order for "true" competitive matches, despite the "competitive" mode existing. If you take the "competitive" mode seriously, people will be upset. Additionally, it is poorly balanced out of a drought of players playing it, so you will always be going against unranked players or low ELO players in most cases and you have to farm like 15 wins just to rank up from MGE to DMG.Faceit as a platform is dogshit especially if you are interested in coordinated play. Pretty much all top players these days play like absolute bricks with no team coordination as a result of it being geared towards puggers. There is no more in-house scrim system for the ESEA League since they moved to Faceit instead of having their own custom-made client.
