Walking around the suburbs in TLOU2 is up there, but I always feel like open worlds cheat a big cause scale is always fucking impressive. Wish I got a 5090 before I did a RDR2 replay cause I only launched it to just run around max settings at 150+ FPS and yeah its fucking top tier. Cyberpunk path tracing is damn good but I feel like I am seeing weird shit like if I open and close my map the shadows/lighting kinda go weird for a second and then "fix".

TLoU 1 and 2 are top tier because they're a combination of crazy high fidelity and great art direction. They also don't have a shitty vignette hiding their game like RDR2 has.

>>724269946It's nice for a game to be pretty and graphically advanced, but that alone does not make a game good. Dev time and game budget are ultimately limited, if large amounts of effort is spent on graphics then there's going to be less time and money left over for something else.
