It had everything going against it>casual game>on console >by microshart>normies loved it>huge ad campaigns >was wildly popular However, it was also really fun, so it's hard to completely despise halo 1-3. I had a decent PC and xbox so at the same time I was shitposting about consolefags and playing half life mods I was also playing halo 2 with my school friends who didn't have PC's. I get why people hate it, but still played the shit out of it. It was the fortnight console slop of its day. I especially remember people clowning on xbox fags for having to pay $20/month to play online.
