Sure, you might not get some great ones, but I'd say the mark of a great balatro player is the versitility in using slightly weaker jokers very effectively. Some jokers that give +Mult on hands means it'd be better for you to use as many hands as possible on it, and many economy jokers depend on you doing stuff with many hands. Often times it's better to intentionally not clear the Ante as fast as possible, intentionally rearranging jokers to be weaker just so you get better econ/building up certain jokers.

Weird choice, always felt that's good more for just meme negative builds.Plasma does scale much faster yeah and where it's easy to get a lot of high scores (where I got my highest score yet, e64), but a bit weird to play at first, due to how score is balanced.Honestly would recommend Ghost Deck, Spectral cards are just basically a must have for any big scores due to adding red seals, doubling jokers/adding negatives, and buying them in shop means you can have them in your consumable spot. Not to mention polychroming a joker early on. Other than that Yellow deck basically ensures a better starting economy, and any high scoring run is kind of dependent on making a lot of money each round to roll shop for the right jokers/deck fixing.

But, I'd say biggest thing you gotta realize is negative jokers (at least through skipping antes) are just not that good. Most joker synergies you gotta build around the entire game, and best way to really get high scoring hands is multiple blueprint jokers, a reliable way of doing that is the invisible joker. But, that joker becomes worse and worse the more negatives you have, since it could copy something you don't want. Most negatives you get randomly just don't synergize well, and are an active detriment for tailoring your jokers. Honestly it's the same as wheel of fortune (which just more often than not gives a shitty effect and makes it impossible to give that joker a negative) just something that seems alluring at first but is kinda shitty in the grand scheme of things.>>724281970Eh, that is a much better way to play anaglyph, but even then I just think other decks are so much better suited for making high scoring hands.
