Ok

I like the entire game, including the sewers and Chinatown and I'm not kidding.

Me too is that we have too many whiny pussies here
>>
>>724276087
Chinatown is fine, clearly axed to hell due to how small the overworld is and the lack of side content. Fuck the sewers, the combat is one of the worst parts of the game when not using blood magic.
>>
> They put that Malkavian whore in the cover
> Even though she shows up for 5 minutes in the entire game and is the least relevant character in the story

amazing
>>
>>724276087
The only actually bad part is the sewers, china-town is decent but obviously suffered from the fact it was undercooked compared to the other areas.
>>
Why is Hollywood filled with garbage quests?
>>

>combat is the worse aspect
Ahem. They should have cut it
>>

It definitely goes downhill after it peaks in Santa Monica

Hollywood > Santa Monica
That snuff tape quests is pure kino. Peak horror atmosphere.
>>
>>724275894
It turns to shit when you start the final quest and all you have left to do is like 1 hour of nonstop combat and shitty boss fights.

Premonition.

play Redemption
>>

How is it? What am I in for?

Downtown at least has a great aesthetic and music, and having all the places you need to go to spread out more with a healthy amount of "empty space" between them gives a better illusion of you having to traverse a larger environment. The problem with Santa Monica being so tightly designed and almost all of the buildings being usable is that it ironically makes it LESS immersive, because all of the stops you make are conveniently lined up neatly on two little streets. Hollywood is almost as bad in that regard.

Who's the shadowy figure?

I heard unarmored falls off hard so gangerals get screwed, is that true?

Sewers were a boring shit.

Gangrel get Protean war form. The problem is the animation is slow and often fails to connect on the last swing in the sequence.

>>724276383
yeah, it was an obvious bait for coomers

Likely LaCroix, his shadow is the symbol of the Camarilla.

you play as a crusader and pursue the love of your life for nearly a thousand years.

>Gehenna is actually pretty terrifying
>Sabbath are even more evil than you thought
>Tzimisce are pure evil and horror and not in a sexy way
It really doesn't hold your hand. In many ways it's way superior to Bloodlines.

Bloodlines mostly sidesteps Gehenna. Sabbat are plenty evil, almost cartoonishly so. Tzimisce are never portrayed in a sexy way either.
Redemption might as well be a great game, don't have much personal experience with it, but that's completely off the mark.
