How do you deal with the "too many games" syndrome?
>boot up game
>play for 5 minutes
>don't have fun because your brain thinks you could be playing something else
>quit
>repeat
>>
Get your shit together and treat games like a reward instead of a second job

>buy a game and let sunk cost fallacy force you to play it
Or the even more hardcore version of this
>buy a console

This is the inevitable result of the zoomer backlog mindset. You faggots were raised on game pass and epic giveaways. You never had to save up for one (1) cartridge and play it for 6 months. You don't see games, you see a content checklist. You've commodified your own hobby into an endless, unsatisfying content queue and now you're wondering why your fried tiktok brain can't derive meaning from it. This is the future you chose.
>>
I've been doing this for almost 2 weeks now

Nigga you had unlimited shareware demos to try out, that was your version of Game Pass or Next Fest
>>

I force myself to start playing. It can take an hour occasionally, but I get there and once I start I don't mind anymore
>>
I usually just post my backlog on /v/, ask a friend of mine, let Steam decide or use something like https://pickaga.me/ and stick to it

I just don't touch games for years and play them when I get an itch for that type of game.

stop posting on social media, 4chan counts
play the game
anytime you think about not playing the game or going on your phone or social media that makes you a tranny, tell yourself that until you beat the game
>>
>>724277607
do other things besides game
>>
>>724277607
You just gotta force yourself to relearn playing one game. It's like a muscle that's gotten weak, train it back up and it'll be easier.

Is this "anhedonia"?
>>
>>724277607
i have this but instead of too many games its that nothing looks appealing

i mean. im a tranny and i tend to hyperfixate on games i like until i beat them. recently 100%ed Croc, and immediately started another 100% run of it cause i was having so much fun.
>>
on /vr/ we call it MAME syndrome

walking is still fine, just dress warm

You are autistic. There is a large overlap between autism and trannyhood.
>>
>boto up game
>know whats going to happen
>it happens
>feel nothing
>stand still while looking at the sky in game
>sigh
>turn it off
>doomscroll for the rest of the night

Don't have it because I think in coherent thoughts and not vague feelings like some kind of woman or child. A game must have one or more of the following to be worth playing
>Good game design
>Novelty
>Cultural significance
>Cutting edge graphics/other tech
>An ambitious scope
>Adhere to my personal interests
Otherwise remove it from your library and move on.

normally id say something snarky but yeah alot of trans people i know are some type of neurodivergent. autistic, ADHD, etc. makes conversation fun since we can casually shift from talking shit about conservatives to "hey wanna hear about this game ive been no lifing for a week?"
