If E3 came back, would it be better, worse, or about the same as it was when it died?

it would be worse. everything is worse
>>
With the direction the industry is moving in it would make sense to move E3 to India
That's where all the devs are now
>>
E3 dying was only a real blow to AAA marketing, which already needs to be brought way the fuck down anyways.

How could it possibly be better, or even as good, as it used to be?
>the industry is completely stagnant
eg A soulless Halo remake was just halfheartedly announced on xitter, to tepid reaction. Who gives a fuck about this industry anymore?
>the nature of receiving news about games has changed such that the same excitement literally cannot exist
We don't get our news from magazines a month after the event these days; you don't pore over the few tiny screenshots of a new game anymore. Instead, you have a 4k video of dozens of crappy titles you don't care about.
>no booth babes because leftists are faggots that ruin everything they touch
E3 in 2025 would be just as gay as TGA, maybe gayer.

It could only exist in the time and place and culture that we remember, and that's gone forever.

Need to be careful with events.

A theme of protection could make it work. With soldiers ready to shoot anyone if they try to compromise people's defences.

Checked there for diseases, if cleared then to a cosplay area catwalk that others can observe, Sealed clear areas/tunnels the cosplayers can go through the area easily, talk to people on the outside through speakers and microphones at ket areas, like near something good, they and people on the outside deciding what is good, and people presenting too.

So where it's social it's where it's asesome, some people breaking the ice, getting over their inhibition, by chatting to welcoming cosplayers beig "slutty" selling the game they're representing, just giving them a good time as initiation to seeing and playing if they don't have that already.

Some sections too where cosplayers can pose, and even strip. Fuck. And where well defended fuck with non cleared people, who suit up wearing latex and stuff, not weird stuff, just their form, facial features included, kept from contact. Feeling them, but not passing on anything. Again shot if they try to compromise protection.

Some different works in progress people can provide feedback on. Different types of VR whole body controllers, like mechanics that lets you pilot planes, run, climb, anything a person can do, with games that show off how that could be fun. Expensive stuff maybe for arcades initially untill mass produced. An attraction for a theme park etc. Maybe breif times in so many get a turn. A lot of selections so they want another turn. Like if they're impressed then demand one from a city to socialise.

Or every E3 event can stay as it is. People going back for the same experience. Wherever hosts an E3 gets a fucking awesome set up. Like it's an arcade. That people can visit the place for. A tourism asset.

People arriving without protection provided basic stuff, suits, tape, fans inside if it's hot and air conditioning isn't effective enough. Flight masks.

E3 could never recapture the magic of its halcyon years: 2009-2012

There are fewer games now, at least in the AAA sphere thanks to the long dev time. At worst it'll be like that last Sony conference with lame gimmicks and 15-minute showcase of cutscenes for each game.
