PSO is actually pretty fucking chill for the most part and at worst the only thing that was really "bad" were the people that insisted on doing a boss rush mission (TTF) to farm EXP in a really boring way. It's actually still pretty fun and as far as enjoying the content is concerned it's more like Monster Hunter than an "MMO" in a way that you can make progress and get to an actual achievable ending.
