it works and its cool but it costs about $0.01 per npc interaction and theres no way to run the llm locally. first thing i tried was hitting on gurder and the whole town overheard and the old woman yelled at me and the elf told me to just go to whiterun and complete the quest lol. 10/10 would pay for but i think it would cost like $50 if i played for 12 hours. craziest game ive played in a while
How does it cost money? Some sort of subscription?
>>724294698listen man, it's like with women, if you pay for it you gotta record it. why didn't you record it?
>>724294776you plug in an "api key" which is like a thing for some datacenter. idk how to run my own llm locally and make an api key for it yet but you have to have the ai responses genersted from a datacenter
whole town gets minds and personalities it has a range around your character its crazy lol ill pay for it and record some soon ill drop like idk $20
>>724294698>no way to run the llm locallyYes there is, local audio on the other hand...
>>724294957>idk how to run my own llm locally and make an api keyJust install ollama it's retard proof
>>724294698Doing it in VR is crazy immersive.
>>724295614makes me mad Skyrim VR gets all the cool shit and FO4 VR gets nothing
can this work with nai?
>>724295481>local audio on the other handRequires a second computer and a NVIDA card. I run it on an AM4 6 core with a 2070. Main computer is a 16c and a XTX.
>>724295690SameWe just need something like HIGGS and manual weapon reloading. Walking around cities and looting abandoned buildings is much more immersive than Skyrim's repetitive cave diving.
But what games can you play using LLM?
>>724294698this is the coolest use for ai, and basically no company is doing it.
>>724294698I hate children and adults who are developmentally stunted.
>>724301383Don't you worry, modern vidya is written by LLMs, the dialogs are just baked into the game.
>>724302803LLMs would unironically be an upgrade from Emil Pagliarulo
>>724294698>it costs about $0.01 per npc interactionWe've barely even got AI and its all like this now. Cant even use ChatGPT free anymore, you get locked out after 5 prompts. Eventually some corporate interest will tell the govt to outlaw using "unapproved AI" or some fucked shit like that.
>>724294698For what purpose do you make 15 year old slop even dumber
>>724301383with how desperate these niggers are to gouge extra pennies out of their customers you think someone would jump at a monthly subscription for ai dialogue
>>724301383Because you'd now have a game that you can't do an 'offline' version of, unless someone happens to have a quarter petabyte kicking around and multiple 4090/5090s.
>>724294698>costs about $0.01 per npc interactionThere are free models that you can run infinite prompts on lole>t. playing with the BG3 open-ended AI RP modI asked Shadowheart if I could see her feet and she threatened me.
