I've never played these games but I'm a big Twin Peaks fan and I also don't mind jank or anything like that. I'm also very into Shenmue and I feel like DP would be a fun mix of Shenmue and Twin Peaks (let me know if I'm wrong). Anyway, anyone know the best way to play the first game? Ideally the Director's Cut because I know I'd want the extra story and content if I like the game. It seems the Steam version is broken, and it seems the game has an issue if you play it on the Switch 2 in which the game's speed is cranked too much or something

Emulate the 360 version maybe?
Yeah, the native PC version is FUCKED. I don't even like the game and I still forced myself to finish it with all the random crashes for some reason

I would've gone for the 360 version but it doesn't have any of the added story and content, the extra story being what I'm really concerned about when it comes to extras.

I played it on 360 myself. you don't need more, just go for it.
