You never played the OG hack games and then GU if you dont understand.

Other good mentions mention are Dragonball Xenoverse to DBXV2 or PSX Spiderman to Spiderman 2. Some games in their first iteration just play like shit and things need to get added.

Its not like its a hard rule because for example, Fable 1 is far better than all its future entries but what im talking about does happen.

Because game series can change and evolve over time. The difference between DMC 1 and 3 is night and day, so i wouldn't be surprised at people who didn't like 1 but liked 3.

I hated MGS V (my first MGS game)
But I loved MGS PW (my second MGS game).

Also, I did not care for MGS 3, nor bothered to finish it after defeating The Pain.
