Obvious balance issues aside plz fix, Sega saars!, I like how the 3 main gadget setups the playerbase has settled on makes for 3 distinct playstyles.Front-running, defensive silver surfers.Back-trailing, scheming baggers.And the 'mid-point' slipstreamers who can sometimes frontrun thanks to ring boost and quick recovery, and often make comeback wins like baggers cause being in the crowd naturally gives boost items. Just not quite as good at either strategy as the extreme options.I actually like the idea of item play as a deliberate strategy, despite not liking the playstyle myself, cause "evil" playstyles like that, or zoners in fighting games are fun to try to overcome when the game is balanced enough. Just, again, please balance.
