Red-Shift is good on anything,but hard to inherit on Summer Maru since you need to grandparent it in (Summer Maru can't have Maru as a direct parent). Front runners need Seiun Sky's ability. Lates and ends like Pump Iron.Lates, ends, and pace all like shooting to victory and triumphant pulse. Just talking about this race. It changes depending on the course/distance. I would say Red Shift is the most important, so you want a maruzensky parent/borrow somewhere in your plan. If you're running late, Pumping Iron is extremely important, more so than red shift. Have a ryan and maru parent for them. Golshi you can build very similarly, she likes Pumping Iron too. Naturally, a strong Ryan can perform very well with her innate pumping iron being strongTriumphant pulse is like a stronger homestretch haste essentially, but only activates if you're not already in first. It can really give you an extra push to get you over the finish line. It's a velocity skill rather than acceleration like the other good ones. This is what makes Oguri such a strong pace for this race. Her innate triumphant pulse is incredibly strong, but it's great while inherited. Rudolf's seems good but it's not the same priority. On Rudolf herself though it's given her the edge in a lot of these races. I've seen quite a few Rudolf's win these practice races, so for a late it's not the worst to inherit. I think I saw a Golshi with it win as well. But you need to pair it with a strong acceleration ability like pump iron for them.Shooting to victory is about as good as Red Shift, but slightly more difficult to proc. Ideally you want as many of these as you can cram on as it makes sense. Paces dont want pumping iron because it wont activate for them (have to be in 6th or so). Red Shift, Shooting, and Pulse are good for them. Might be repeating myself a lot, so sorry about that.

Breath of Fresh Air can proc on a straightaway, and unfortunately this means it can proc at the VERY START OF THE MATCH, meaning it heals you when you've barely used any stamina at all. This can make it effectively useless. On some courses, the straightaways are laid out differently so that it's not AS much of a shitty gamble, but here it IS a big gamble and probably not worth the SP unless you really, really need it.Later on this gets buffed so that this cant happen at the start of the race, making it much better. Right now though, do not bank on it to give you the heal you need. It WILL proc immediately in the race more often than not.

She gives practice perfect to help reduce the chances of failure during creek's illness, still has a chance to give (in my opinion) a good gold skill for creek, and she still gives an extra 10% training effectiveness; her lack of specialty prio may even cause her to be on stam/speed/power training more often which is good. You'd really just have less wit from lack of specialty prio which is probably fine.Also, maybe i'm just unlucky but you still want to make sure you have good parents when running only one stam card, even with creek's extra stam growth.One last thing, depending on the racers, her ult can be unreliable. if she isn't at least 4th (i think) or if there are no fronts and she takes the lead, she won't use her ult which may cause problems. In the first situation, it's good to make sure you have good mid race skills so she stays at least 4th place. In the second situation, I think that's where the extra wit shines; failing that, it may be good to take an extra non-gold recovery to help her not gas out.

Regardless of the build, skills are incredibly important to speed Creek up in the final leg. Oguri can pulse past you, lates and ends can surge past. The advantage of creek is her built-in recovery so you have more points to spend on things to help with that, like your own inherited triumphant pulse or maybe even homestretch haste, though i personally haven't tried that one. There may be other good inherited skills that i'm not thinking of too. As you said there isn't much time, but do what experimentation you can to find what works for you!
