I paid about $10 for an AOE2 DE license and I've got around 2500 hours of playtime in that without even diving into modded content. With only so many hours in the day that kind of value makes the idea of paying $70 for some slop I might play once or twice laughable.. toss my head back and let out a huge guffaw with a big mouth laughable. I just picked up RDR2 for $15. Can't wait to dive in.
the reason $70-$80 is "too much" is because games have been such shit for such a long time that any increase would make people scoff. They could have gone up to $61 and people would still be bitching about it.
