For the most part, yes
I liked the prologue and the scenes around the end of Act 2 but otherwise it's pretty badly written with cardboard cutout characters and lazy contrived shit like the end of Act 1 or the entirety of Act 3
Oh yeah and lots of scenes of characters looking a bit confused while pretentious french music plays

I personally hated the "plot twist" but the parry system feels satisfying yet annoying. I feel like there's a lot of different things they could've done better. It's a classic turn based RPG like the original first few Final Fantasy games where there's things to do and discover outside of the main story so that's always cool.

this game came out 7 months ago, it was on gamepass and it is free from gog, I have to imagine that the only people still wondering "is it good?" are the most braindead bottom feeders on the internet. Either fucking play it or move on already.
