>>724307508IV is just a really good NPC killing simulator. The physics, their reactions and voice lines, their ragdolls, their damage system, it's all great. In GTA V there's no damage states, an NPC at 1 health behaves the same as one at 100% health. In GTA IV they'll start limping and if they're incapacitated they'll struggle on the ground slowly dying as their eyes open and close in a dizzy dying daze, and even if they're on the floor they have a chance to get back up and very slowly limp away in a dying desperate attempt to flee, wherein they might simply collapse back onto the floor and die. It's just fun to see and play with from an objective video game enjoyer standpoint.

Even in RDR2 they have detailed gore, but all the animations are exaggerated slapstick and Tarantino-like (as well as enemies eating bullets from the neck down for balance purposes and never lingering very long like GTA V). Modern sensibilities have shifted, the game looks more inspired by Fast & Furious than anything else. It's going to be V again with RDR2 graphics and immersive sim shit everywhere

I think the sad thing about 6 is that it will concentrate on the winning formula of being focused on heists.
