As a non nostalgiafag that only played it on rpcs3 a year ago it is the worst souls game. Good ideas but not fully developed. Only Boletaria and whatever the realm with the jail and the gargoyles were good. The weapon upgrade stone system was God fucking awful

I've played through Demon's Souls about a dozen times on my PS3 and emulated it again just a few weeks ago. It's a great game. It's got the timeless Souls format.Meanwhile, if you tried to go back to King's Field, you'll get bored with how slow paced and unengaging it is.
