Japanese sales have generally been about 1/3 of Nintendo's total, so that would be 7.5m here but Japan is probably a little higher as a share right now. 7m sales right now is unbelievably impressive because Nintendo generally does around 10m sales in the holidays. If they can hit even 9m that would be 16m in half a year, nearly matching the switch 1's total year 1 sales.
