This. I don't understand why most games miss this point entirely. Having a curated soundtrack will always elevate the experience.

Just take picrel as an example. They licensed a kino norse song as their intro and for the release material. From the get go it sets the tone for the experience.

before this part happens in game i was barely into the game then after this 1 fucking song and cinematic i was hooked and suddenly cared about the world and characters, mostly king arthur and his knights.
