Wii U is awesome and I still have it set up. I only use wii-fit though these days. But the entire Wii U library was cracked and you could download games from the official nintendo servers back in the day for free. Just needed a big external HDD or jump drive. It had so many unique games you could only playin it. Best nintendo console honestly from a pirates perspective. Right behind it was a cracked DS.

I enjoyed it more than my switch, though I mainly used it to play Splatoon 1 & Hyrule Warriors. I was very addicted to those games, it was a problem for awhile. I thought I liked the Switch but when I went back to play Splatoon 1 before it shut down last spring it was an infinitely better experience than 2 and 3. Their newer games just aren't that fun any more.

Aside from like, Smooth Moves I wasn't really enjoying the Wii. So I grew disinterested and kind of went full PC/PS3. But when the Wii U came around. I decided to give it a chance. And I really enjoyed it. The Wii U actually had stellar exclusives. I'll die on this hill. I kept saying it back in the day too, but though people often refused to listen then, those same games have seen great success on the Switch since. So yeah, the games were real solid. But since the Wii U was also a Wii. I decided to give the Wii library a second chance. And since the Wii era was already over, there were a lot of Wii games out at this point, and turns out I had a missed a ton of really good games. I played Xenoblade. The Last Story. Super Paper Mario. Galaxy 2. Warioland Shake It. Metroid Prime 3. And many, many more. In the end I ended up playing like 75+% of my Wii games on the WiiU.
