If your butt is really itchy, get thprac and practice later stages specifically. If your butt is hurt, take a break. Finish the run regardless of continues used & use Stage practice to learn the stage and get better at it. Stuff like Youmu's green & yellow bullet non spells isn't as intimidating as it may seem.Keep lost lives to a minimum in the first 4 Stages. A lot of what Stage 4 throws at you is aimed. Avoid moving recklessly and instead move slowly as to not spread bullets, or when pinned, quickly move as to misdirect aimed bullets and leave a gap, using vertical space helps.Assuming screenshot is yours, Marisa's Cherry Points increase the fastest from shooting, so she has the best amount of control over when you get Supernatural Borders. Shooting unfocused earns you cherry points faster which could help. You could also switch to the more beginning friendly ReimuA (3 bombs/homing shot makes routing stages a lot easier, a bit weak against bosses), ReimuB (3 bombs, a playstyle closer to Marisa, better at bosses) or SakuyaA (4 bombs, homing like ReimuA but a bit stronger).Before the inevitable raid know that jp has a gameplay thread if you need answers.

Non-spells are a matter of general skill, it's more "feeling" the pattern and honing your instincts for dodging with small movements, this just comes with timeSpell cards usually have a gimmick, and it's all about finding it, what works for me sometimes is to not actually try to dodge it, but to do some weird movement or positioning hat I'd never do in a serious run, just to see what happens. Often it allows me to understand the components of the pattern better
