Here's my opinion:
Video games and live services aren’t the same thing.

A video game has a goal. You play it, finish it, and feel good about it. There’s an ending. Closure. Satisfaction.

Live services are built to never end. They feed you little drops of dopamine to keep you playing forever. There’s no real “finish,” just a slow grind designed to make you log in tomorrow.

One respects your time.
The other milks it.

Sì, perché erano ancora agli inizi e volevano mungere le persone per ottenere monete. Nella generazione a 8 bit il concetto si è evoluto nell'idea moderna di videogiochi.
