The gameplay is ass, but the story is a legitimately good taboo horror tale akin to House of Usher.

The ending cutscene actually chokes me up a little, which never happens.

There are some games with mid gameplay that have a story good enough to push through, but RoR's gameplay is so bad it's not worth it. Watch a playthrough though.
