No. They get the job done, I suppose. Inferior to the real hardware and you might as well emulate on PC, Steamdeck or PSP. If you use your phone I'll kill you.

I guess if I flew in planes it would be fine, but otherwise there are too many menus for ipad kids to understand before they can read good, and otherwise you're playing 30+ year old games so, it's as fun as you want it to be.
honestly i'd rather get the real hardware or just emulate on my phone. but i get the appeal of portability and nice controls.
