So, yes, of course Obsidian wants to disassociate themselves from Bethesda. No one can blame them.As for Obsidian, look, they can "from the creators of..." all they want. The fact is, game studios have some of the fastest employment turnovers in the entertainment industry, with entire studios replacing their entire workforce after the completion of nearly every single production. The original Fallout was almost 30 years ago. New Vegas was 16 years ago. The studio workforce that worked on those projects no longer exists today. Game engines are changed. Hardware is changed. It's irrelevant to mention that they are the creators of something made even five years ago, never mind 16 and 30 years ago.
