>This used to be considered the lowest point of the Star Wars franchise
They kinda didn't know what to do with Star Wars after Revenge of the Sith and it shows. The books were making up whatever they could for old man Luke to deal with, the games were all middle of the saga filler that didn't make much sense, and the clone wars was pretty solid but still just more prequel era stuff
>>724327921Pretty much, LucasArts/lucasfilm just kept experimenting and throwing shit at the wall just find something successful to milk off.
Say it
>>724327921>They kinda didn't know what to do with Star Wars after Revenge of the Sith and it shows. There was no need to do anything. Just make different side stories for fun. Then Disney came with thier shitty marvelcinematicuniversque shit
>>724328163Fuck you for ruining General Grievous.
>>724328163George Lucas never made good Star Wars. He was an idea good that was good when moderated by other people, but he was genuinely terrible when making decisions. He had minimal involvement in The Empire Strikes Back and that's considered one of the better movies in the trilogy. If you look at nu-wars, a lot of it is still built on his idiocy. That said, unlike fucking nu-wars, he at least had an outline for what he wanted, as opposed to the complete retardation of hiring random failed directors to just film a trilogy based on vibes.
>>724328575Anon, the entire franchise was ruined long before General Grevous showed up.
